EER has made a major commitment to Irish Studies. We are proud to be publishing a significant group of new books, many as original paperbacks. In addition to internationally acclaimed works already in print in the EER list by Professor David Pierce – and forthcoming titles from him and from Professor Terence Bareham, Professor Michael Groden, and others - we are delighted to announce the launch of three separate major new series:

Irish Women Writers: Texts and Contexts
These two series will be published by EER in association with the Irish Women’s Writing Network. The plan is to launch the first volumes in the series in late 2019/early 2020. The General Editors of both of these series are Dr. Kathryn Laing, of the Department of English Language and Literature, Mary Immaculate College, University of Limerick, and Dr. Sinéad Mooney of the School of Humanities, De Montfort University, Leicester.
